The Chosen is a Christian historical drama series created, directed and co-written by filmmaker Dallas Jenkins. Jenkins intended the show to differ from previous portrayals of Jesus by crafting a story arc that focused more deeply on the people who encountered Jesus and viewing him through their eyes. We know that our places of work and play are often not safe places to talk about our spirituality.  We believe that creating such a safe space is important, a space in which to watch and discuss each episode of "The Chosen", digging deeper into the narrative and production.  We don't have any expectation you'll join our church, only that you will leave better informed and more knowlegeable about Jesus and the people who followed him.

We screened episode 1 on November 15 and are watching subsequent episodes every Wednesday to December 13.  We take a break over Christmas and pick up again January 3 and end mid-January.
