Starting in September, Fairview is setting up a system of pre-authorized remittances with the bank the church uses. This system allows your offering to be debited from your chequing account automatically once a month, around the 20th of each month. Sign-up sheets require a void cheque and are available in the church narthex. At any point in time, you have the flexibility in changing the amount of your monthly givings or cancelling in entirely. Fairview will be charged a relatively small administration fee for this service, but there is not cost to the individuals who wish to participate. Please pick up a sign-up sheet for more details.
Community Lunch
Fairview Community Lunch
Fairview invites the neighbourhood around the church to come out for a free BBQ lunch! Bring your friends and neighbours and enjoy a BBQ lunch on us on Saturday, September 11 from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. We'll be outside in the yard cooking up a feast, making new friends, and having a great time together! Vegetarian options will be available.
In addition, we are very excited to feature our musical guest, Rachelle Kostelyk of Vancouver, will be joining us and providing some of her amazing music. To visit Rachelle's website, please click HERE.
There are sign-up sheets in the church lounge for congregation members to volunteer to help out on this eventful afternoon!

Mission
Fairview is a missional church. We support not only the Mission of The Presbyterian Church in Canada through Presbyterians Sharing but also the work of Presbyterian World Service and Development and the Women's Missionary Society. We further support a variety of local and international mission work including:
Latin America Mission
Regent College
Synod Cariboo Mission
Union Gospel Mission
Presbyterian Renewal Fellowship
St. Andrew's Hall
Ratanak International.
Fairview has also been involved in "hands on" international mission work in Cambodia through Ratanak International.
We are a community of believers who celebrate the love of God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – in our lives. We worship, we pray, we care for each other, we grow in Christ and we share God’s love.
