Sunday Worship Services

We gather at 10:30 on Sunday mornings for worship. Worship is central to the life of the church where we spend quality time with God and with each other. We can and should worship God in our day to day lives as individuals but there is something special about coming together with sisters and brothers in Christ.

Our morning worship service is on the more traditional side with use of an organ and piano and sometimes guitar or brass instruments. We have a high quality music ministry to lead the congregation in singing and to provide a variety of special music.

The service follows the four-part flow of gathering for worship, hearing God’s Word to us, responding to the Word and being sent back out into the world – into our lives – to live as light and salt.

We have two sacraments in the Presbyterian Church: Baptism and Holy Communion or the Lord’s Supper. We don’t have set times for Baptisms – they happen when needed – but we celebrate together the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month.

There is no dress code at Fairview. You will find suits and dresses to jeans, shorts and golf shirts. The service is usually about an hour and quarter long and during the service we provide childcare for the younger children and Sunday School for children in Kidergarten through Grade 8. See more information here.

Following the service everyone is welcome to have a cup of coffee or tea along with a cookie or two in the lounge as we continue to share time together.

What We Believe

We are a community of believers who celebrate the love of God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – in our lives. We worship, we pray, we care for each other, we grow in Christ and we share God’s love.
